Julie Carlson April 05, 2013

What you want, when it comes to outdoor dining, is indestructible dishes and unbreakable drinking glasses. What you don’t want is plastic. The solution: remember enamelware?

It’s been a challenge to find old-fashioned enamelware suitable for indoor/outdoor use; that is, until UK company Falcon reintroduced its classic line, which dates back to the 1920s.

Above: The pieces are made from heavy-gauge steel with a porcelain enamel coating.

Above: The Enamel Mug is available in red, white, or gray; $18 each at Brook Farm General Store.

Above: The Falcon Enamelware Tumbler is available in white, red, or gray; $14 each at Terrain.
