Object of Desire: Housenumber Sconce from Belgium

June 22, 2017

Outdoor lighting solution: an entryway sconce with polished brass house numbers from Belgium-based designer Tekna.

Part of the Nautic collection (see indoor lighting styles on Remodelista), the design evokes “old trains and ships from a bygone age,” says designer Eric Huysmans.

The Nautic range is available through Interieurs in New York. Shown here, the Housenumber has a weathered brass plate (also available in a rough aluminum finish) and contrasting polish brass numbers. It is approximately \10.6 inches high and 4.75 inches wide.
