Object of Desire: Waxed Leather Garden Kneeler

From Bradley’s the Tannery, a waterproof garden kneeler as easy on the eyes as the knees. It is handmade in Shropshire, England “surrounded by rolling hills, picturesque cottages, rich farm land, our own funicular railway, not forgetting the winding waters of the stunning River Severn.” (They had us at waterproof, actually.)

With a handle to make it easy to carry, the garden kneeler is part of a collection of leather accessories (which includes gloves and aprons: that Bradley’s owner Brad Burn began making in 1984.

The Heritage Collection also includes leather gloves, aprons, hats, pouches, and totes.
