Rules to live by when shopping for appliances for an outdoor kitchen: Choose a refrigerator constructed of high-quality stainless steel (the better to withstand the elements) and check to see that it has a compressor powerful enough to keep food evenly chilled no matter how dramatically the outside temperature varies.
