Tulip Magnolia Branches: Just Add Water

February 12, 2013

A seasonal treat, the first tulip magnolias we’ve spotted in bloom, via Terrain, which is shipping branches while supplies (and flowers) last:

Above: A bunch of Tulip Magnolia Branches from 3 to 4 feet in length are shipped while still tightly budded; $58 from Terrain.

Above: White flowers edged in pink; to help branches absorb water, cut lengthwise up the stem.

Wondering how to arrange them? For our favorite vessels, see “10 Easy Pieces: Simple Glass Vases Under $30.”
