Glamour in the Garden: Haute Couture Hoses from Sweden

After Linda Brattlöf bought her first house and garden in Sweden, she started looking at hoses in a new way. Well, at one hose in particular: the ugly green one attached to her spigot. Her garden deserved better, and so she decided to design the world’s most beautiful garden hoses.

Thus was born Garden Glory, the Göteborg, Sweden-based company she founded in 2012 to sell high-quality hoses, wall mounts, nozzles, and hand tools. “We are working with some of the best producers in Sweden in order to deliver premium quality and design,” Brattlöf recently told Scan magazine. The craftsmanship shows:

Garden Glory&#8\2\17;s Hand Spade has a similarly elegant silhouette, with a solid brass blade. With a compression-molded handle that feels warmer to the touch than wood and available in five colors including Onyx (as shown), the hand tool is €\1\25.

A Hose Nozzle available in \1\1 finishes (including De Luxe Brass as shown) comes with a universal tap adaptor that works worldwide. Prices range from €49 to €\1\10 depending on finish.
