Gardening 101: How to Water a Potted Plant

Not all potted plants are created equal, at least when it comes to their water needs. But whether you are keeping an asparagus fern or a fiddle leaf fig tree, a few basic rules are all you need to follow to figure out when to water–and when to leave well enough alone.
