Brass Outdoor Weather Station

September 30, 2013

What do you do first in the morning, have coffee or check the weather? Perhaps you’d like to know the moisture level in the air while you’re at it.

My next outdoor purchase is going to be a big round thermometer with oversized numbers (so I can read it from indoors during foul weather).  I think I may have found it in this wall-mounted brass thermometer with a hygrometer also measures humidity levels. And (bonus points for this) it has a swiveling arm:

Above: Made of unlacquered brass that will darken over time, a Brass Outdoor Weather Station is 4.5 inches in diameter and projects 6 inches from the wall; it’s $74 from Rejuvenation.
