Beds!
“How can we make front-yard garden beds look attractive?” I asked my husband back in 2009. Before he could respond, I heard the answer in my own question! “Beds!” I shouted “Let’s get some pretty bed frames and turn this boring 56’-by-20’ plot people see from the street into something homey.” We found what we wanted by scrounging yard sales and the local St. Vincent’s de Paul’s thrift shop. Here’s what the yard looked like that year.
