Clyde Oak is a shop self-described as a destination for “people interested in aesthetics and dirty hands.” So nice of them to cater to us personally, don’t you think?
Above: This time of year, we’ve got our eye on the root basket. A loosely woven basket that’d be equally perfect for housing dahlias over the winter, or keeping potatoes and onions happy in the pantry.
Designed in the model of the basket woven by the Cherokee people of North Carolina, baskets are handmade in North Carolina. Sturdy handles give the basket a place to hang from as well as allowing for easy transport from the garden.
