The sculpture is made with a volcanic rock from the Campi Flegrei volcanic area near Naples.
The work has been completely excavated inside and has a large hole at the top and another small one at the bottom.
Its appearance is abstract and its main meaning is linked to the Zen concept of emptiness in fullness.
It weighs about 30 kg. The work is part of the group “The Family” installation in progress composed of various sculptures made of trachyte but which have different shapes, sizes and colors.
