Description from Canoe
Christoph Hack is the man behind Hack Lederware, a Cologne-based company that makes distinctive bags and other goods. The heavy duty material used in the bags was originally a surplus fabric from the Swiss army with a distinctive red thread running along the edge. When the supply was used up, Hack worked with a fabric mill to replicate the sturdy cotton/linen blend. Produced in a small workshop in Cologne’s trendy Belgian Quarter and finished with bridle leather length adjustable handles and deerskin accents, the totes are both rugged and elegant. A Canoe exclusive.
