Description from This is Paper
A hand made bag from linen string. Durable and more capacious than it seems, it is perfect for shopping, especially for groceries. When empty, the bag can be squeezed to a tiny size and fit in a pocket.
This bag was woven by hand in a small village of Orneta in Northeastern Poland, a region famous for crafting the highest quality string bags. Quite widespread all over the country in the 60s and 70s, these bags are now hard to find and rarely seen on the street despite their functional properties.
