Description from Annie's Annuals & Perennials
Geum coccineum “Totally Tangerine’
Bountiful masses of 1.5″ juicy apricot blooms on 24-30″ branching stems add a splash of cheer for months & months on what may be the most FLORIFEROUS & LONG BLOOMING Geum ever! Seriously, word is it produces five times as many flowers as other Geums. A fast grower, the flower show begins in late Spring continuing through Summer attracting butterflies from near & far. Fuzzy foliage forms a cute & compact clump 18″ wide & 14″ tall. For those of you in hotter spots, a bit of afternoon shade is preferred. If you have never tried Geums before, they’re one of the toughest, heat tolerant & longest lived perennials you’ll ever grow! Deadhead for the ultimate flower fest. Compost yearly & cut back in Winter.
