Product Information
A canvas apple or orchard picking bag, with a beautifully aged, worn patina. A perfect piece for display, storage or even as a hanging garden basket. There are no identifying marks, so I am not sure of the exact age, however the leather straps and metal clips look to be quite old. The top of the bag is held open by a wire frame, which is covered with canvas and leather. The bottom of the bag is open, with raw edges (see 4th photo). To close it, the bottom rolls up and then clips to rings at the top. There are two heavy, woven straps for carrying. The front strap is removable and attaches with leather buckles. The back strap is riveted to the wire frame. Bag is approximately 18″ long as shown in the first photo, but can be adjusted. The straps are about 14″ long as they are hanging in the first photo. The framed top of the bag is approx. 9″ deep and 14″ wide.
Leather and canvas are worn and aged. Straps are in good condition. Metal hooks/clips/buckles have some surface rust. Will be shipped to US customers via USPS Parcel Post. US shipping charges are calculated to the furthest zone from my location. If you live closer, shipping will be less and excess shipping charges of more than $2.00 will be refunded. If you order multiple items, shipping charges are combined to be the least expensive for you!
