Services Offered

WRW Studio is a small, full-service design + build partnership dedicated to bringing the beauty and functionality of glass to residential, corporate, and public spaces. While architectural art glass is usually associated with decorative applications, WRW sees glass as integral to the built environment, an essential building element whose full potential is often overlooked. From three-story glass walls illuminating the lobby of a courthouse or public library to single panes providing the essential combination of light and privacy to a home, designed glass can integrate form and function like no other material.

WRW’s 15,000 square-foot workshop in the Catskills houses studios for design and model-making, glass fabrication, and wood and metal work. Equipped for leading, etching, staining and painting, photo-emulsion, fusing, slumping, and lamination, the studio can accommodate projects of any size. When conceiving of a project, WRW’s principals work in collaboration with the architect or client to create a design, often combining old and new technologies to realize a vision, and always welcoming the chance to experiment when a project calls for it. The firm is known for its contemporary use of leaded glass, its large-scale public-art projects, and its professionalism and service.

WRW Studio was established in 2002 by David Wilson, Walter Riesen and Trevor Wilson.
