Elizabeth is the principal designer and owner of Boxhill Design, a landscape design firm in Tucson, Arizona. With over 20 years of landscape design in both residential and commercial spaces, Elizabeth has developed a signature pragmatic style — one of simple elegance with a focus on relaxed outdoor living. Her work has been featured in both regional and national publications and, recently, won a 2017 Gardenista National Design Award.

Elizabeth’s passion for outdoor living and contemporary design lead her to launch Shop Boxhill, an online shop featuring a curated selection of furniture and outdoor living products, as a spin-off of her landscape design business. Each season, Elizabeth scours the field looking for pieces with great style, smart design, and outstanding craftsmanship to include in the Shop Boxhill collection. Shop Boxhill has quickly become a go-to source for clients looking for the best in outdoor furniture, fire pits, rugs, lighting, and décor.

When she’s not designing gardens or hunting for the next best thing in outdoor product design, Elizabeth shares her enthusiasm for landscape design through educational lectures and public speaking. Elizabeth is a member of APLD, ASLA, ACLA and the Garden Conservatory, a co-founder of Tucson Modernism Week, and has held positions on the city planning commissions for Marana and Tucson.
