This Mendham family home is an outpost of New England in Central New Jersey. Our objective for this project was to incorporate and complement the clients’ collections and antiques with contemporary decoration and furnishings. We highlighted the owner’s collections of birds, Audobon, ships, hunting, antiques, americana, photography, flags, primitive folk art, and furniture by grouping them together and adding modern colors and forms to the mix.
This four story French Renaissance Revival family townhome is located near Prospect Park in Brooklyn, NY. We were involved in all aspects of the interior design, in tandem with the architects on the project, as a full renovation was underway. To keep the original character of the home in tact, most of the original millwork and stained glass details were saved. This creates a visually interesting, light backdrop for the clients modern mix of furnishings, art, and antiques, curated to fit the family’s new dream home.
This 19th Century Townhouse in the Chelsea neighborhood of NYC was fully renovated with a focus on letting in more light. We painted most of the walls and ceilings white and bleached the floors. The white walls and bleach floor create a light filled open plan space, with living, dining, and kitchen all interconnected. We highlighted the clients extensive art collection with a mix of modern and vintage furnishings, lots of pattern, and color.
