Services Offered

1100 Architect is a New York- and Frankfurt-based firm that has delivered award-winning projects for clients around the world. Founded by David Piscuskas, FAIA, LEED AP and Juergen Riehm, FAIA, BDA, the studio is known for its meticulous attention to detail. Instead of hewing to a particular style, 1100 Architect works closely with each client to design environments specific to each place and tailored to each client.

We carefully evaluate site, resulting in works of architecture that are timeless manifestations of place, at once distinctive and modern while always thoughtful about setting and environment. Fundamental to this pursuit is the belief that building design is a progressive process informed by client aspirations, site, history, available resources, and time. We believe that design can motivate and inspire users, and make an affirmative, lasting impact on individuals and communities alike. The studio carefully evaluates light, material, and detail specific to the nature of each project, resulting in functional, beautiful, and sustainable spaces that elegantly integrate into their surroundings.

Our residential portfolio includes apartments and townhouses in urban environments, as well as houses in more rural settings. Each is an expression of the client’s interests. We provide architectural, interior, and landscape design services, along with expert consultation in environmental review, historic landmark assessment, and sustainability and wellness planning.

The firm’s work has been featured in many publications, including Architectural Digest, The New York Times, and Vogue.
