‘Golden Baby’ Goldenrod is a compact, 2 foot tall perennial bearing scads of flat-topped clusters of golden-yellow plumes in summer. It’s great in borders or containers. Flowers attracts butterflies. Plants bloom the first year when started early.
A five year trial of Goldenrods by the Chicago Botanic Garden proved ‘Golden Baby’ Goldenrod plants to be highly disease resistant. ‘Golden Baby’ provides reliable color, and plenty of cut flowers, with excellent tolerance of both heat and humidity. Winter hardy to zone 4.
