The Luceplan Solar Bud, designed by Ross Lovegrove in 1998, accompanies your footsteps in the dark by illuminating every step. Delineate areas that are difficult to see – doorways, swimming pool edges, walkways – using the Sun, the most efficient of energy sources. Solar powered batteries recharge themselves in the sun, with an 8-hour charge providing approximately 13-15 hours of light.
Founded in 1978 by three Milanese architects, Luceplan’s strategy is grounded in design, respect for the environment, and quality.
The Solar Bud is available with the following:
- UV-resistant transparent methacrylate head

- Solar powered by two rechargeable nickel cadmium batteries
