Dewit produces handmade garden tools with lifetime guarantee and is considered one of the best in the world. The company was founded in 1898 and is today run by the fourth generation.

All tools are made of Swedish steel and handles of European ash. Carbon Steel is naturally tougher than stainless steel. Dewit burnish the steel. It helps to protect it longer and gives the tools a blackening patina, just like traditional English tools from the Edwardian era. The handles are made of ash because ash is a very strong wood (much stronger than oak and beech) and therefore better protects against shocks than other woods.
