This solid Cast Bronze Double Thumb Latch pairs with a simple and straight drop bar to create a traditional gate opener. On the street-side of your gate you install the handle-only portion of the thumb latch. On the yard-side you install the drop-bar and handle. It is operable from both sides.

This latch is ideal for in-swinging gates. It can also be used for out-swinging gates by reversing the installation (you’d see the drop-bar and handle on the street-side). The latch is not lacquered, so it will darken naturally over time.
