Rita Konig is an interior designer and the European editor of T Magazine. She recently created a video series for the magazine called “The Decoration of Houses,” including episodes on Spitalfields Antique Market and A Simple Guide to Picture Framing.

Rita, who lives in London, was formerly the European editor for WSJ Magazine. She is the author of the book Domestic Bliss: Simple Ways to Add Style to Your Life

Cities I’ve Lived In: London, Paris, New York.

Biggest Design Influence: Probably my mother, Nina Campbell. 

Favorite Flower: Lily of the valley or roses.

Favorite Houseplant: Scented geraniums, when they get really leggy.

Hardest-Learned Gardening Lesson: To be patient.
