Fashion's Favorite Fleuriste: Thierry Boutemy in Belgium

Issue 38 · The Low Countries · September 17, 2012

We've long admired the work of Brussels-based florist Thierry Boutemy, first spotted on Ensuite. Boutemy may prefer to remain under the radar, but with high-profile clients from the fashion and art world (Matthew Barney, Lanvin, Alber Elbaz, Dries Van Noten, and Sofia Coppola), it's hard to stay anonymous.

Boutemy (whose very name speaks of botany) operates the simply named Fleuriste shop in Belgium, where he creates haphazard-seeming but impossibly artful bouquets and floral installations.
