Design Sleuth: Instant Spa Bathroom

April 25, 2013

Blame it on the fact that I live in California, but I believe that every bathing experience should be an opportunity for another spa treatment. Here’s a genius idea, courtesy of The Floral Society, for instantly transforming your morning shower into a meditative moment:

Above: Bundle a few boughs of fragrant eucalyptus into a bath bouquet–also known as a tussie-mussie–to hang from the shower head arm. The soothing scent of eucalyptus oil is used in aromatherapy to clear the mind as well as to reduce swelling in your mucus membranes.

All you need to make a eucalyptus tussie-mussie is a few branches and twine.
